Day 1 Two hours north from Quito. The most famous indigenous market in Ecuador is held here. Although the market is bigger on Saturdays, you can visit with us on friday and find an impressive variety of all kinds of Ecuadorian handcrafts. At dawn you may see indigenous people arriving the market place from many mountain trails surrounding the city. |

Day 2: We’ll visit “Cuicocha” lake in the morning to have a nice view and we will take a boat to go around the lake, after we will go to the leather Market named “Cotacachi” and then to the “Peguche” waterfall consider sacred because there they make purified baths, and an Eucalyptus forest surround this waterfalls. Finally we will go back to Otavalo where you can buy many clothes made by hand and also woollen ponchos, blankets and wall hangings. This a famous tourist market with a variety of goods. |
