We also show you how to make bread-dough figures, a speciality made in a town called Calderón.

Program of the tour:

An 8 hour tour north from Quito, passing by the towns of Calderón (bread-dough figures) and Cayambe, where the equatorial monument is located and we reach the Cotacachi-Cayapas ecological reserve, here we have the opportunity to hike around this unique volcanic crater where you will be able to admire and enjoy the natural goods of the Ecuadorian high lands.

On the way back we stop at the Indian market of Otavalo, home of the most famous handicraft market of South America.

Lunch could be taken during the trek (box lunch) or if you prefer lunch could also be taken a a restaurant before we return to Quito. Both options are included.
